POSITION:

Portfolio Manager

The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for day-to-day ETF portfolio management. The standard portfolio management responsibilities will include portfolio management oversight of all index rebalances, developing baskets to facilitate daily order flows, corporate action events and making discretionary trading decisions; fiduciary oversight including monitoring tracking error and proposing, as necessary, strategies to reduce tracking error; engagement and leadership in defining new investment process improvements that promote efficiency and scalability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Identify and monitor key investment and industry trends, in partnership with investment teams and product teams, and develop investment-led insights and solutions for clients.
  • Partner with sales, relationship managers, and other stakeholders to promote and support business growth.
  • Travel as necessary to meet with clients, prospects, and attend/speak at industry events.
  • Develop tools to support distribution with consistent investment messages. This includes a detailed understanding of current investment landscape, knowledge of portfolio holdings, risk attributes and performance attribution of the strategies.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on investment policy, strategy, process, risk considerations, portfolio characteristics, and results for portfolios under the team’s mandate.
  • Collaborate on key strategic business initiatives.
  • Aid in the training and development of newer and/or less experienced team members.
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High attention to detail and ability to implement portfolio management
    responsibilities consistently and accurately without direct supervision.
  • Open-minded, logical, determined, and highly ethical, possess intellectual
    curiosity, and strong fundamental skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of global markets and the ability provide market and fund attribution.
    Ability to make quick decisions, establish priorities and concentrate on detailed information under stressful conditions.

  • Operates with a sense of urgency and strong desire in shared success.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in the investment, management experience is required.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in the ETF industry, including building and launching ETFs.
  • Experience presenting to clients, explaining how ETFs work and are constructed.
  • Team based collegial orientation with strong work ethic and ability to inspire innovation.

Additional Assets (Preferred)
MBA preferred and/or CFA Charter Holder preferred
