Senior Associate / Associate Director, Digital Assets Research
The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping and delivering our digital assets research agenda in Europe, with a clear mandate to support asset growth, strengthen client conviction, and reinforce our leadership in digital assets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Responsibilities
Research & Thought Leadership:
• Develop high-impact, distribution-oriented research on digital assets, with a strong macro and portfolio-construction lens.
• Build differentiated investment frameworks that articulate the value proposition of digital assets for European investors.
• Produce authoritative thought leadership, including market insights and white papers, tailored to institutional and intermediary audiences.
• Collaborate with academics and external partners where appropriate to strengthen intellectual credibility and brand leadership.
Distribution & Client Engagement:
• Play a core role in European digital assets distribution, supporting client engagement through research-driven insights and narrative development.
• Engage directly with clients via meetings, conferences, webinars, and events, translating complex digital asset themes into clear, actionable investment perspectives.
Act as a trusted internal partner to sales, responding to client requests with timely, high- quality research and analysis.
Strategy, Market Intelligence & Product Development:
• Conduct competitor and peer analysis across European and global digital assets markets, including ETP issuers and alternative investment vehicles.
• Monitor market structure, regulatory developments, and investor behaviour to inform strategic initiatives and product positioning.
• Contribute meaningfully to new product development, leveraging research insights to shape strategy and innovation.
Research Infrastructure:
• Actively contribute to the development, maintenance, and evolution of digital assets research materials, datasets, and internal knowledge frameworks.
• Use quantitative tools and data analysis to support research outputs and strengthen analytical rigour.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Desired Skills & Experience
• 5+ years’ experience in digital assets, crypto markets, or closely related asset classes.
• Strong understanding of macro-economics and their relevance to digital assets.
• Comfortable operating in a client-facing, commercially driven research role where impact on engagement and flows matters.
• Proven ability to translate complex analysis into clear, compelling, client-facing insights.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with experience working directly with crypto and traditional asset datasets.
• Familiarity with industry data and analytics platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, Morningstar) is required.
• Experience within asset management, ETPs, or financial markets strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for research, analysis, and data automation is a strong plus.
• Professional proficiency in one or more European languages (e.g. French, German, Italian) is an advantage.
