RESPONSIBILITIES

Thought Leadership & Narrative Development
● Author impactful whitepapers, quarterly/annual outlooks, research decks, and op-eds that build credibility for crypto index investing

● Translate complex crypto and macro trends into content that resonates with financial advisors,
institutions, and media
● Help evolve and evangelize the company’s mission of crypto index investing, driving the intellectual foundation of our market narrative.

Media, Ecosystem, and Public Engagement
● Serve as a spokesperson for Hashdex in research-driven conversations (conferences, social media, webinars, interviews, client events)
● Engage with journalists, podcasters, and influencers to advance Hashdex’s thought leadership and credibility
● Build relationships with analysts, academics, and data partners to deepen ecosystem ties and validation

Strategic Research & Enablement
● Partner with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to develop advisor-facing materials (e.g., the investment case for crypto in a 60/40 portfolio)
● Provide market commentary and thematic insight to support distribution, roadshows, and investor conversations
● Commission and synthesize market surveys, data studies, and sector outlooks to inform strategy and content planning

Team & Process Leadership
● Lead and expand a high-output, cross-regional research team, collaborating with Brazil- and Europe-based analysts
● Mentor and develop analysts in areas such as financial markets, crypto and portfolio construction
● Oversee editorial calendars, content pipelines, and compliance review processes in coordination with Marketing and Legal

REQUIREMENTS

Experience

● 10+ years of experience in asset management, research, or market strategy, ideally with exposure to ETFs or alternative assets

● Demonstrated experience producing content or research consumed by financial advisors, institutions, or the media;a large social media presence, or willingness to create one, is a plus

● Prior role as Head of Research, Investment Strategist, ETF Analyst, or Crypto Market Analyst preferred

● Crypto-native enough to speak credibly about Bitcoin, Ethereum, DeFi, digital asset taxonomy, and crypto’s relationship to macroeconomic themes

Skills
● Exceptional writer, speaker, and visual communicator—able to explain and persuade with clarity and nuance

● Comfortable engaging with media, analysts, and clients on behalf of the brand
● Strong grasp of investment frameworks (e.g., diversification, correlation, volatility, risk premia)

● Strategic thinker with a category design mindset—you think in terms of narratives, not just news
