POSITION:
Head of Product Management
The Head of Product Management is a key leadership role within the European team, responsible for defining and executing our product vision and strategy. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a proven record of managing the product lifecycle and delivering competitive investment products. Leveraging market and investor insights alongside a solid understanding of regulatory requirements, this role is central to shaping and refining our product offerings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
• Maintain and build upon existing product strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and UCITS regulatory standards. Oversee the management of existing products and contribute to the development of new offerings.
• Establish clear performance metrics related to product profitability, market share, and compliance, and take proactive measures to enhance competitive positioning.
Team Management:
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 5 product professionals, ensuring effective staffing, performance management, and ongoing professional growth.
Product Innovation & Compliance:
• Champion the ideation, evaluation, and launch of new product opportunities and enhancements, collaborating with portfolio managers to refine investment strategies that meet market demands and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all product developments fully comply with UCITS standards and other applicable regulatory frameworks.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Act as the key liaison with senior management, Marketing, Sales, Portfolio Management, Legal, and external partners to ensure seamless communication and alignment of product strategies with broader business goals.
• Work closely with Marketing to develop and implement media plans, manage external communications, and address media inquiries effectively.
Market & Regulatory Intelligence:
• Continuously monitor market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory changes to proactively adjust product strategies and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Translate market research and regulatory insights into actionable strategic initiatives.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of European market dynamics, including local regulatory developments and cross-border distribution challenges, to tailor product strategies to diverse regional needs.
• Serve as a knowledgeable spokesperson on product-related topics, willing and able to engage with the press and participate in interviews as needed. Media outreach and coordination will be led by Marketing, with the Head of Product providing expert insights on investment products and market trends.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position will oversee a team of approximately 5 professionals focused on product management and development, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the successful execution of product strategies and initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in product and marketing roles within the financial services sector, with a background in UCITS-compliant products such as mutual funds or ETFs.
• Extensive knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks, including UCITS standards, and proven experience managing cross-border products in Europe.
• Strong qualitative, quantitative, and analytical skills, with a proven ability to synthesize complex market and regulatory data into actionable strategies.
• Experience in managing, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional project management skills, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven track record of navigating the diverse regulatory and market environments across Europe.
• Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field strongly preferred; Bachelor’s required.
• CFA designation is desirable, though not required.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently between Amsterdam and Frankfurt to support cross-office collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
